The parent company of Pianos of Gosforth, Omega Music Pianos, has been established at our Brampton (Carlisle) base for 25 years.

Pianos of Gosforth opened in May 2007 and is the only specialist Pianos shop in Newcastle. The principal aim is to offer a range of pianos to suit the requirements of all, including German pianos by some of the world’s best-known and respected manufacturers such as Blüthner and Seiler. We also stock Japanese instruments by Kawai and Yamaha, and a range of student instruments at very competitive prices, together with a range of good quality digital pianos, piano stools, piano repertoire sheet music, examination pieces and other things associated with piano music-making including musical gifts and cards etc.

Over the years, our company has established a very good reputation based on our thorough knowledge of all aspects of pianos, honest opinions and competitive prices. We are trusted for advice and supply of pianos to major institutions across the region, including in 2004, the supply of Steinway Concert ‘D’ Grands to the Sage Gateshead Music Centre.

Despite all the changes in music and music technology, the piano remains one of the most versatile instruments ever conceived, with more music written for it than any other. Buying a piano is a significant investment and we want you to be happy with your choice. In our showrooms we try to offer a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere with no high-pressure salesmanship. We are also happy for you to try all the different instruments, making it a fully ‘hands-on’ experience.
